Improve Your Credit Control Process and Debt Collection Techniques, See Better Results and Improved Cash Flow
5 Structured CPD Points
15th April 2014
Apex Business Centre, Blackthorn Road, Sandyford Industrial, Dublin 18
Successful management of your cash flow, from your accounts payable through to your credit management are absolutely vital for the current and future success of your business, your department or your organisation. The flow of cash through the business is likened to the petrol in a car, you can have a fantastic engine but if you run out of petrol, it simply won’t work anymore. Running your operation successfully requires strong, solid and consistent credit management, it’s that simple! What’s not so simple is getting paid on time and in today’s very tight financial business environment, unfortunately it has become normal for some debtors to abuse their position of trust and delay payment, or worse, not pay at all. A poor credit management executive or someone holding the position of credit control without the right training could actually harm your credit management and damage your operation.
For such a crucial role, it’s surprising to find that many people who find themselves in the area of credit control or debt collection, (and not exclusively those new to the role) often have little or no experience or training in how to manage credit. While they may have some expertise to competently manage important issues, such as book keeping and filing invoices, many people in this position can lack the important personal skills that the role requires, such as how best to speed up slow paying debtors, the techniques required to successfully ensure payment over the phone, when to be firm and assertive and when to not to be overly pushy, understanding and learning to handle the typical objections & negotiations, as well as managing statements and other follow up documentation. It is a position that can become overwhelming to an individual or team if not properly trained and managed.
CMG Professional Training, Irelands leading training providers are hosting a one day CPD accredited MasterClass ‘Credit Control & Debtor Management’ for those who recognise they may need to have a better understanding of the role, and would like to improve their credit control process, debt collection techniques and ultimately see better results and improved cash flow. When you leave this CMG MasterClass, you will have a much better understanding of your role, better insight in how to handle the challenges and vitally, you will leave with the ability to immediately implement the techniques and procedures you have learned, which means you can expect to see improvements from day one in your credit management results.
On completion you will receive your CMG MasterClass Certificate of Attendance in Credit Control & Debtor Management as well as your CPD Certificate containing 5 Structured CPD Points. Please note certificates are issued only at the close of the training course to participants who complete the full five hours. All of our training courses are CPD accredited and all are practical and career / business enhancing.
