Project management tools, and particularly MS Project, give you improved estimations, greater control, easier tracking, better collaboration, and results that are easier to measure.

Microsoft Project is a project management software program, which is designed to assist a project manager in developing a plan, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing the budget and analysing workloads.

These project management tools can be used in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, government, retail, financial services and health care.

Those who are new to this program may not be familiar with how it works, or how it applies to their project specifically. This CPD Certified course will give attendees a highly informative introduction to MS Project, and how the software can be effectively used as a powerful tool to produce, develop and manage project schedules, and how it can assist in effectively communicating project deliverables and milestones. It will be of benefit to those who wish to improve their project planning and management techniques, and will enable participants to manage, schedule and track projects successfully and provide essential project management information.

If you feel you already familiar with the basic topics and have already created and resourced a project plan in auto-schedule mode. If you are up to speed with these topics, our Microsoft Project 2013 – Intermediate Level – Managing and Tracking would be an ideal.

Training Environment:

CMG Professional Training courses take place at our state-of-the-art training facility in the Apex Building situated in the Beacon Quarter of Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18. The CMG Training Centre is accessible by the Luas, (Sandyford line, Stillorgan stop – 6 mins walk) several bus options (the number 11 travels from O Connell street Dublin and stops directly outside the training centre) and we are situated very close to the M50 at the Beacon Hospital corner. There are several car parks within a three minute walk from the training centre with very competitive ‘all day’ parking rates and we have a range of coffee shops (including Starbucks) as well as shops and restaurants nearby.
