Date: 4th July 2017
These are highly litigious times and the growth of mediation, arbitration and adjudication are all testimony to the difficulties that arise through poor interpretation of contracts, failure to adhere to contracts or, as in often the case, a poorly constructed contract.
The forthcoming CMG MasterClass, focusing specifically on the issues and challenges pertinent to the construction industry, will provide you with a clear understanding of the golden rules regarding the principles that underpin the majority of contracts in the construction industry.
As most business is now done on a contractual basis, it is imperative that your contract is well constructed, clear and without common pitfalls and minefields that can be open to interpretation and perhaps, lead to costly disputes.
This CPD certified MasterClass will significantly strengthen the ability of all attendees to understand and evaluate key legal principles relating to construction contracts. Delegates will be made aware of the main contract terms and conditions, the impacts that arise from common mistakes and how they can be avoided. On leaving this course, attendees will be better equipped to spot potential problem areas, and ensure they go into any contractual situation better informed both practically and legally. All attendees will receive a highly useful course pack to refer back to at any time, gain valuable CPD points, and have a chance to engage in an informative Q & A on the day.
