Business Continuity Planning

  • 5 CPD Hours Apex Building, Blackthorn Road Sandyford Business District D18 (map)

Are you prepared in the event of disruption to your Business or Department?

Learn how to plan and recover quickly to ensure minimum losses

Resilience, recovery and contingency are key for every business to manage a threat to their business’s productivity. These threats come in many forms; fire, floods, accidents caused by staff, server crashes, hacking, insolvency of key suppliers and negative media attention. These are only a small number of potential issues a business may face at any given time.

An ongoing management process to ensure the necessary steps are regularly taken to identify and assess the effects of probable incidents is vital to the survival of a business. Also, the development of recovery strategies and training of these strategies will ensure minimum losses are incurred when a threat to business arises.

This CPD course will show you the key concepts and benefits of business continuity planning (BCP), the components of an effective BCP, how to gain mandate and commitment, as well as emergency planning, crisis management and business recovery. Having a solid plan in the event of any kind of crisis could make a massive difference to the success and longevity of your organisation, and the lessons and concepts taught in this course will improve your ability to respond promptly to a crisis.

All attendees will receive a full course pack to refer back to at any point, and will receive a CPD certificate at the end of the course, worth 5 Hours Structured CPD (if applicable).
