Writing is the primary way business gets done. When it’s done well, business gets done well, and when writing is not done well, it can create a slew of business problems. Poor writing can create confusion, cause readers to abandon the document, it can result in poor customer service, and above all else, poor writing simply wastes time: it wastes the time of the writer and certainly that of the reader. How you write directly influences how your company and your staff are perceived, and the ability to express information in a clear, unbiased and structured is undoubtedly a skill that will help you on your career progression.
This one-day CPD training course will take you through everything you need to know to improve your writing in business, including structure, grammar, layout, to enable you to create a reader-friendly style, that is both clear and concise. You will learn about structure, flow and rhythm, how to avoid common errors, and how to proof read effectively.
