This CPD certified MasterClass will provide delegates with practical knowledge of risk management tailored to the Public Sector. Unforeseen issues can happen at any time and usually require on the spot thinking; however, many issues can be planned for in advance. Risk management should be an integral part of the processes, policies and procedures of effective organisations.
This course will give attendees practical advice on how to implement Risk Management in accordance with Risk Management Guidance for Government Departments and Offices (2016). This document complements the recently published Corporate Governance Standard for the Civil Service (2015) and supports the development of governance frameworks in Government Departments and Offices. The guidelines take account of developments in risk management including the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 31000, Risk Management – Principles and Guidelines.
All delegates will receive a highly informative course pack which may prove invaluable in the future, and will gain 5 structured CPD Hours (if required).
