A good working knowledge of Excel is vital for most professionals today, particularly those based in an office environment, and stronger Excel skills can open the door to promotion and leadership opportunities. Excel is a powerful tool but cannot function alone. It requires someone to take advantage of everything Excel has to offer to provide the best results for their company.

This one-day introductory class covers all the basics of Microsoft Excel, showing attendees how to enter and edit information in a worksheet, manage and navigate worksheets, perform calculations and manipulate worksheet data, format the worksheet contents, and prepare, set up, and print information.

On leaving this course, attendees should be able to enter and edit information in a worksheet, manage workbooks and navigate worksheets and workbooks. The user will be able to perform basic calculations on worksheet data, manipulate the data, format the contents of a worksheet and prepare, set up and print information. All delegates will also receive a full course pack to refer back to at any time.

Prerequisites: Delegates should be familiar with PC’s/Laptops and have used a mouse and keyboard; be able to launch and close programs; navigate to information stored on the computer; and manage files and folders.

Cost

This training course costs €395 EARLY-BIRD (Normal rate €495). The price includes course documentation and training pack, teas and coffee, snacks, biscuits, fruit on arrival. Lunch is a light fare containing freshly cut sandwiches, wraps, a selection of teas and coffee. Alternatively, you can avail of the local food stores and coffee shops within a one-minute radius of the training centre for hot food or alternative lunch options.
