The company secretary is responsible for the efficient administration of a company, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of the board of directors are implemented.
While previously seen as an administrative role, the company secretary can now be held liable for any loss to the company as a result of their negligence. Therefore, it is vital that they are trained in all areas that they are currently held responsible.
CMG Professional Training are one of Irelands leading professional educators, and have trained people in the changing role of the company secretary. After this one-day course, you will leave with the skills and confidence to enter back into the role with full understanding of your responsibilities under the Companies Act 2014. You also receive our full tutorial pack which will allow you to refer back to your course content after the course is finished, enabling you to continue to access key points and refresher topics as you need them.
