What challenges to expect, where things can go wrong during construction & how to overcome these obstacles
This one-day training course will focus on building accessibility and specifically Parts K & M of the Second Schedule of the Building Regulations. You will become confident with what challenges to expect, where things can go wrong during construction and how to overcome these issues. The course will also give delegates the knowledge and understanding of the user’s needs and how they vary between projects, and how a one-size-fits-all approach cannot be taken.
This is a must attend training course for anyone working on building projects with responsibility for the design or implementation of correct access to buildings. We will examine where the two sections overlap, and we will also explore recent changes for BS8300 & the design of buildings to meet the requirements of disabled people. All attendees will get a chance to engage in an informative Q & A session, and will receive a highly informative course pack, as well as 5 structured CPD Hours.
