The BC(A)R 2014 – Inspection & Certification System

This one day training course will focus on BC(A)R, S.I. No. 9 of 2014, and in particular on the compliance and certification regime by industry practitioners who are required to bring their expertise to bear in the certification process. The course will examine how BC(A)R 2014 Inspection and Certification System uniquely addresses the critical challenges of the complexity of modern construction, the required competence of certifiers and the level of resources required. 

This is a must attend training course for anyone working as an Assigned Certifier, Design Certifiers or Ancillary Certifier, all attendees will get a chance to engage in an informative Q & A session, and will receive a highly informative course pack, as well as 5 structured CPD Points.

Course Content

  • The Statutory Certificates in S.I. No. 9.
  • The Ancillary Certificates agreed by the Professional Bodies and the CIF.
  • Inspection Plans.
  • The 4 No. Practice Notes produced by the Professional Bodies and the CIF to provide guidance to practitioners on the Ancillary Certificates, Inspection Plans & Documentation.
  • The Code of Practice for Inspecting and Certifying Buildings and Works.

This course will be of interest to all Building and Design professionals including, current Assigned Certifiers, Design Certifiers or Ancillary certifiers, as well as contractors, surveyors, architects, engineers, specialist contractors, local authority executives and technical managers, material manufacturers, suppliers to the building sector, government department officers with direct or indirect contact with the building and design sectors, industry associations, representative bodies, educators and regulators.

Certification

On completion, you will receive your CMG MasterClass Certificate as well as your CPD Certificate containing 5 Structured CPD HoursPlease note certificates are issued only at the end of the training course to participants who complete the full five hours.

Cost

This course costs €395 (Early-bird Rate) normal rate is €495. Includes course documentation and light refreshments. While the course fee does not include lunch, we do provide freshly made sandwiches, Nespresso coffee and a range of teas and fresh juice for those who require a light lunch. Alternatively, you can avail of the local food stores and coffee shops opposite the training centre for hot food or alternative lunch options.
