This course will examine the Utilities Directive (2014/25/EU) and will provide an overview of the EU procurement rules as they apply to utilities operating in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors.
It offers expert, experience-driven and practical guidance on a number of key points such as award procedures, grounds for exclusion, specification, amendments to tenders and more.
We will examine the procedure for challenging the award of utilities contracts by looking into the Review Procedures Regulations, and reviewing recent procurement challenges and their relevance to tendering procedures and practice.
All attendees will get a chance to engage in an informative Q & A session, and will receive a highly informative course pack, and leave with 5 structured CPD Points.

Who Should Attend?
This course would be relevant to those working within the water, energy, transport, telecommunications and postal services. Anyone with an active role in procurement who wants a detailed understanding of procurement law under the Utilities Directive, as well as the legal process for challenging the award of utilities contracts.
On completion of this one-day training course, you will receive your CMG MasterClass Certificate as well as your CPD Certificate containing 5 Structured CPD Hours. Please note certificates are issued at the close of the training course to participants who complete the full five hours.
