This course will inform delegates on the processes of planning systems and flood risk management, the flood risk assessment process and an introduction to flood modelling.

This course has primarily been designed and developed for those responsible for reviewing and evaluating FRAs in both the public and private sector including planners, engineers and environmental employees in local authorities, planning consultants, GIS consultants, design engineers, developers and anyone who is involved in planning and environmental management in relation to flood risk. It will also be of interest to those carrying out FRAs to gain an understanding of how FRAs would be peer reviewed prior to submission to the regulatory body.
On completion of this one-day training course, you will receive your Certificate of Attendance. Please note certificates are issued at the close of the training course to participants on completion of the course.
