Course Description

Tools and Techniques to Assist in Monitoring, Controlling and Successfully Delivering Projects

This one day MS Project Level 2 course will look at more advanced project management tools within MS Project and examine improved estimations, greater controls, streamlined tracking, better collaboration, and more measurable results. Microsoft Project is a comprehensive software program designed to help project managers develop plan, assign resources, track progress, manage budgets and analyse workloads. These tools are versatile and can be applied across various industries including construction, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, government, retail, financial services and healthcare.

By the end of this training course, you will gain practical skills in managing projects using the software and apply skills throughout the day. You will learn essential tools, techniques and tips to affectively refine existing schedules and present customised project information

Delegates should already be familiar with the basics of MS project level1 and have experience creating and resourcing a project plan in auto-schedule mode. If you need help getting up to speed on some of these topics our Microsoft Project – Level 1 course would be ideal for you

Pre-requisites

A desktop / laptop with the required software installed is required.

It is essential that delegates are already familiar with the basic topics from MS Project Level 1 course and have already created and resourced a project plan in auto-schedule mode. If you are not yet up to speed with these topics, our Microsoft Project Level 1 would be an ideal starting point.
