This course will provide a technical walkthrough of how a BER uplift is achieved in technical terms and will also consider the consequences to this with regards to air, moisture, and thermal bridging. We will also take an in-depth look at the obligations set out by government for housing stock and best practice standards for new and retrofitting low energy building projects. With costs rising for all projects we will also look at costings and how to calculate the payback period.

The course is applicable to anyone seeking to build their understanding of the key principles of domestic retrofit hence it is relevant to anyone involved in these processes. Please note certificates are issued at the close of the training course to participants on completion of the course.
