A few words from our tutor on what you can expect from this course

Course Description

Later this year the Health and Safety Authority are publishing new guidance on land use planning and hazards for sites that fall into the remit of the Seveso Directive. Many organisations are not aware of their duties under the current guidance and legislation.

Organisations also may not be aware of the risks and hazards associated with new developments which are part of the de-carbonisation of the economy, for example anaerobic digestion facilities and hydrogen generation and storage plants.

This course will cover the duties of planning departments in relation to COMAH, notification distances, as well as revised guidance and important legal changes to be aware of. Delegates will also get a chance to receive guidance on specific issues or queries, from one of the countries most experienced professionals, as well as a hugely helpful course pack to refer back to.
