The advanced Data Protection Officer training course has been designed for those currently in the role of Data Protection Officer, to help meet your obligations and responsibilities and go that bit further into an advanced understanding of key GDPR elements. 

This course explore issues such as data subject rights, sanctions and penalties, key obligations, as well as key points in designing the organisation’s policies. It will also highlight the knowledge needed to carry out effective privacy impact assessments. Delegates will also have the opportunity to speak with the course trainer, an expert in the field, who will provide practical and applicable information that you can implement immediately. You will also receive a full course pack to refer back to, and accredited CPD hours to add to your yearly requirements.

To attend, it is highly recommended that you already have experience working with Data Protection legislation.

Who Should Attend?

This course is ideally suited to anyone currently fulfilling a Data Protection Officer role within an organisation and those responsible for ensuring that their organisation is compliant with data protection law.


On completion you will receive your CMG MasterClass Certificate as well as your CPD Certificate containing 5 Structured CPD Points. Please note certificates are issued only at the close of the training course to participants who complete the full five hours. This course is also recognised and accredited by the Insurance Institute of Ireland (III) for 4 hours formal CPD, as well as the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) for 5 CPE credits.


This course costs €395 (Early-bird) normal rate is €495. Includes course documentation and light refreshments. While the course fee does not include lunch, we do provide freshly made sandwiches, coffee and a range of teas and fresh juice for those who require a light lunch. Alternatively you can avail of the local food stores and coffee shops opposite the training centre for hot food or alternative lunch options.
