Presenting evidence at an inquest can be a very daunting and very stressful process. Many witnesses feel they are on trial and being interrogated, rather than giving evidence to assist the coroner.
Knowledge of the witness specialist area of work may be tested, and technical terms have to be explained simply and clearly. It can also be unsettling when families have questions of their own.
This practical Coroner’s Court Training course is designed to ensure delegates have the support and knowledge to give a truthful, confident and coherent account at a Coroner’s Court inquest.
The day will clarify the process, and delegates will undergo realistic questioning by an experienced Tutor. Delegates will leave this course with a better understanding on how the Coroner’s Court works how to prepare and give evidence in a confident, appropriate and professional manner.
Attendees will leave the day feeling more prepared for future cases with a full course pack (as well as an electronic copy) and a cert for 5 structured CPD points to add to their yearly CPD requirements
