The complexities of contracts for those with no legal training can be a nightmare for business owners to navigate through. This course will give delegates functional knowledge of what red flags to be aware of when drafting or reading potential contracts. 

This CPD certified MasterClass will provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of what is required when dealing with the structure and terminologies of contracts. It will also give delegates an insight into relevant commercial sensitivities and drafting tips to consider.

  • Provisions contained in a B2B contract from both the buyer and supplier 

  • Key concepts regarding price and payment 

  • The Sale of Goods Act 1980 

  • Exclusion causes and the issues surrounding them 

  • Warranties and indemnities 

  • Ways contracts can be terminated and consequences of termination

Certification

On completion you will receive your CMG MasterClass Certificate as well as your CPD Certificate containing 5 Structured CPD Points. Please note certificates are issued only at the close of the training course to participants who complete the full 5 hours. 

Cost

This course costs €395 (Early-bird) normal rate is €495. Includes course documentation and light refreshments. While the course fee does not include lunch, we do provide freshly made sandwiches, coffee and a range of teas and fresh juice for those who require a light lunch. Alternatively you can avail of the local food stores and coffee shops opposite the training centre for hot food or alternative lunch options.
