This Data Protection Officer training course has been designed to help Data Protection Officers meet their challenging roles, and to understand their obligations and responsibilities under the new GDPR. 

This course will enable you to meet the legislative requirements of a Data Protection Officer under GDPR and increase you and your organisation’s confidence to:

  • Protect and manage data

  • Interpret Data Protection legislation 

  • Implement a data protection framework within your organisation

  • Design, complete and report on data protection impact assessments 

  • Justify the rationale behind data protection related recommendations

On leaving the course, all attendees will take home a full informative course pack to refer back to, as well as CPD certification and a CMG Masterclass certificate.

To attend, you will need a working knowledge of current Data Protection legislation.

Who Should Attend?

This course is ideally suited to anyone currently fulfilling a Data Protection Officer role within an organisation, those new to the role and those responsible for ensuring that their organisation is compliant with data protection law.

Certification

On completion you will receive your CMG MasterClass Certificate as well as your CPD Certificate containing 5 Structured CPD Points. Please note certificates are issued only at the close of the training course to participants who complete the full five hours. This course is also recognised and accredited by the Insurance Institute of Ireland (III) for 4 hours formal CPD, as well as the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) for 5 CPE credits.

Cost

This course costs €395 (Early-bird) normal rate is €495. Includes course documentation and light refreshments. While the course fee does not include lunch, we do provide freshly made sandwiches, coffee and a range of teas and fresh juice for those who require a light lunch. Alternatively you can avail of the local food stores and coffee shops opposite the training centre for hot food or alternative lunch options.
