The Office of Government Procurement mandates that routine public sector procurement of goods and services be undertaken pursuant to their Goods and Services Contract Template. This one-day course will give delegates a thorough introduction to the issues, risks and clauses common to all commercial contracting, focusing on the OGP Templates to ensure immediate relevance to the public sector, as well as those who tender to the public sector.
Delegates will learn functional knowledge of what red flags to be aware of when preparing and reading contracts. You will leave with a comprehensive understanding of how to use the clauses during the performance of the contract
This course provides delegates with foundational knowledge and would notsuit legal professionals who have vast experience dealing with OGP contracts.
It will be relevant to both public and private sector organisations andpersonnel in accountants, commercial managers, procurement professionals,commercial entities tendering for public work, anyone working with commercialcontracts or who would like to brush up their knowledge of same.
On completion of this one-day training course, you will receive your Certificate of Attendance. Please note certificates are issued at the close of the training course to participants on completion of the course.
