Course Description

This PSDP training course is essential for anyone involved in the design, planning and management of construction projects in Ireland. With health and safety risks an increasing issue in the building and design sectors, understanding your responsibilities is critical to ensuring safe, compliant and efficient projects. This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to identify hazards at the design stage, implement effective risk management strategies, and collaborate effectively with clients, contractors and stakeholders. By attending this course, participants will be able to create safer workplaces and preventable incidents on site.

Who Should Attend

This course will be highly beneficial to anyone who manages, coordinates or influences the design process. This includes the PSDP, design managers, project managers, lead designers, architects, engineers, BIM Managers, and specialist designers. Also design and build managers, contracts managers, temporary works coordinators and relevant clientside roles should attend where they have responsibility for design decisions or design risk management.

Certification

On completion of this one-day training course, you will receive your Certificate of Attendance. Please note certificates are issued at the close of the training course to participants on completion of the course.

Cost

An ‘Early Bird’ discounted rate of €545 is currently available. This training course normal rate is €645. Early-bird places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
