In the event of a data breach, companies must be able to evaluate and respond quickly. This one-day workshop will go through the steps required to prepare an incident response plan that works for your company, the legal obligations you need to consider, including when to notify the Data Protection Commission and data subjects.
By attending this course you will learn how to prepare a response plan, your obligations, as well as identifying key roles in the process. During the day we will also run a live breach scenario where you will being given a scenario in real time, and will give you the opportunity to put what you have learned into practice, and manage the breach in groups with assistance from the tutor.
All attendees will get a chance to engage in an informative Q & A session, and will receive highly informative course notes.
