RIAI Contracts - Training Course

The Royal Institution of Architects of Ireland (“RIAI”) is a Standard Form of Building Contract. This form of Contract is drafted specifically to cater to the needs of the construction process and provides a practical approach to dealing with the common issues arising in the construction industry.

This course will introduce attendees to the various roles under the RIAI Contracts and ensure that the attendees understand the impact and effect of the procedures as set out in the forms and their obligations within them. It will help develop each attendee’s understanding of the contractual pitfalls in the contracts and address common misconceptions, including risk allocation and payment assumptions.
