The Role of the DPO - Designation, Notification, and Position of the DPO

  • When must an organisation appoint a DPO? (Art. 37)
  • Who can be a DPO? Independence, qualifications, conflicts of interest
  • How to notify authorities and communicate the DPO's appointment

Statutory Tasks of the DPO

  • Main tasks under GDPR (Art. 39)
