Course Description

If you have been using excel without ever been formally trained this is the course for you to build the essential foundations needed. Many people are expected to manage data and use formulas, but have learned through trial and error. This one-day practical course is designed specifically for those who feel they may have gaps in their knowledge or are starting from scratch and need a foundation. You will learn how to confidently create spreadsheets, use essential formulas, manage data efficiently and apply simple shortcuts that save time every day. The focus is on real workplace tasks to help you feel capable, efficient and less reliant on guess work when using excel.

All attendees will receive highly useful course notes to refer to at any time and have a chance to engage in informative Q & A sessions on the day.‍

Pre-Requisites

  • It is ESSENTIAL you own a laptop/computer with the required software installed (Microsoft Excel 2013 or later).
  • If you are on a laptop, it is recommended you use a separate mouse and keyboard if possible

This course is designed specifically for those who don’t realise they’re beginners. It will be very beneficial to those needing some formal training in excel and a foundation for further advanced training levels. Those who feel they only know “bits” of excel and are self-trained or anyone wanting to improve confidence, build time saving tools and efficiency at work.

Certification

On completion of this one-day training course, you will receive your Certificate of Attendance. Please note certificates are issued at the close of the training course to participants on completion of the course.

This course may qualify for CPD points. Please check directly with your association or awarding body to see how many points they will award.

Cost

An ‘Early Bird’ discounted rate of €499 is currently available. This training course normal rate is €599. Places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. PLEASE NOTE THE EARLY BIRD RATE CLOSES 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO COURSE DATE. The course cost includes all course documentation and Certificate of Attendance.
